Layer Marney at Dusk
Layer Marney is one of the great Tudor gate houses in England. Beautiful warm red brick with stunning exuberant terracotta Renaissance windows. This is an unusual view from the courtyard looking through the garden to the church which houses the splendid tombs of the first and second Lords Marney. The line carelessly died out so the house was never finished!
